Alfred W "Mutt" Broy, 67, of 8 Circle Drive, Berryville, died Wednesday in Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Broy was born Feb. 12. 1921 in Clarke County, the son of John W and Nellie Stickles Broy. He was a retired farmer. He was married to Mary Ellen Huff.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Fay Schumate of Front Royal; three sons, Carroll "Snooky" Broy of Berryville; Roylee Broy at home and David Broy of Bluemont; five sisters, Velma Deavers, Louise Duke and Dorothy Grubbs, all of Berryville, Anna Mallory of Front Royal, and Frances Thompson of Charles Town, W. VA.; a brother James Howard Broy of Berryville and four grandchildren.
