James Harris "Bud" Broy, 65, of Berryville, died March 29, 2002 in a local nursing home. Mr. Broy was born Au. 24. 1936 in Clarke County to John William Broy and Nellie Stickle Broy, both whom are deceased. Survivors include four sisters, Dorothy Grubbs and Louise Duke, both of Berryville, Anna Mallory of Front Royal and Frances Thompson of Anthony, Fla.

Graveside services were conducted Monday in Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville. The Rev. Robert Moore officiated. Memorials may be sent to John H Enders Fire & Rescue, 9 South Buckmarsh St., Berryville, VA 22611 or Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester VA, 22601. Arrangements were handled by Enders & Shirley Funeral Home in Berryville.
