Roy G "Bobby" Leake, 44, of Berryville, died Friday in Clarke County. Mr. Leake was born July 27, 1948 in Winchester, the son of the late Roy G. and Ida Strickel Leake. He was the director of utility plants for the Town of Berryville and was the Pride Team Technical adviser. He was a member of the Shawnee Ruritan Club, Clarke County Lions Club, Berryville Baptist Church and the Berryville County Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Leake and a daughter Carse Laine. The funeral was held Monday in Enders Funeral Home, with Dr. Darryl Maxwell and Dr. William Ingram officiating.
Pal bearers were John Hogan, Ken Riley, Bozie Gardner, Butch West, Ron Dye, Bobby Fiddler, Dickie McDonald and Denny Swartzmiller, Honorary pallbearer.
