Comments: [Memories from William Knox]
The Williams’s acquired two brownstones in the West Eighties—they cut a door through on the second floor. The unmarried children lived with them and the married children in the other brownstone with Aunt Louise Castree who paid my grandfather’s way through Princeton . He always felt a great responsibility for his sisters (there was a Castree Trust which was broken up and distributed in the late 1950’s – my mother, Uncle Jack and Grampa were he trustees)
