Often, girls with the name of Sarah would take the name Sallie as a nickname, but her parents using this name at the age of 2 and Sallie continued using this name in all her census reports, so I am showing her name as just "Sallie" the name used on her death certificate, some researchers are showing her name as Sarah but most researchers show her as Sallie. Age 53 - 1910 US Census - living in the Middleway District of Jefferson Co., Virginia - Jacob and Sallie have been married now for 30 years. Jacob (J M Stickley) is 64 and Sallie (Sallie B Stickley) is listed as 63 (but the correct age is 53). Jacob is again shown to be renting a farm and working as a farmer. This census shows her as having given birth to 3 children and all are living. Grover (Grover C Stickley) (24 yrs) and Rose (Rosie E Stickley) (18 yrs) are both living at home. There are also two grandchildren living with them: Annie Poston (29 yrs) and Rubin Arker (8 yrs).

All three children are living at home: Edith E. (36 yrs), Grover C (26 yrs), Rose L. (30 yrs). Edith is shown as being married and Grover and Rose are single.

Age 68 - Death Certificate - Dated 12 Mar 1926 at 11:30 pm, Full name is Sallie R Stickel, married to Jacob M Stickel, born on 23 Apr 1859, working as a housewife, birth place listed only as West Virginia. Cause of death is listed as Paralysis contributed by Nephritis (Kidney failure) and Arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). father is listed as Jason Lock, born in Charlestown, West Virginia and Margaret McDonals of Darkisville, West Virginia.
