Born in Baltimore, MD, she moved to Ocala from Tewksbury, MA, nine years ago. She worked as a Line Supervisor for Codex Manufacturing. She was a past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baxter Jr.; son, Robert Baxter, III; granddaughter, Jessica Grace Baxter; brother, James, and sister, Louise; she is survived by sons, Gary (Carol) Baxter, Summerfield; James (Martha) Baxter, Ocala; Allen (Cynthia) Baxter, Shertz, TX; Stephen Baxter, Columbia, SC; daughters, Jean (Chuck) Bingham, Denver, CO; Barbara (Frank) Wyrwicki; Ocala; brother, Kenneth Goodman, Baltimore, MD; Beverly Haines, Leesburg, FL; 19 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital or Hospice of Marion County. Arrangements by Countryside Funeral Home, Anthony, FL.
