CASTREE, JOHN E., 64 - of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2009. Born and raised in Bucks County, PA; he has been a South Jersey resident for the past 35 years. John was a communications engineer and an avid two-way HAM Radio Operator (K3IHA). He is survived by his wife of 34 years Betty A. Castree, his two sons: David and Alan Castree, his brother, Scott Castree, and his sister, Judy Wilson. Services will be held on Wednesday, 11:00a.m. at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Viewings will be held on Tuesday evening 6-8p.m. and Wednesday 10-11a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 6550 Delilah Rd., Suite 501. Egg Harbor Twp., NJ 08234 or Greentree Church, 125 Schoolhouse Rd., Egg Harbor Twp. NJ 08234.
