ALMA LEE (BROY) STICKLES (1911-2000)

ALMA B STICKLES
Alma Broy Stickles, 88, of 1197 Cedar Hill Road, Clearbrook died Thursday, Jan 6, 2000, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Stickles was born Nov 29, 1911, in Clarke County, the daughter of Charles Lacy and Nancy Willingham Locke Broy. She was a member of the Welltown United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women.
She was married to John T Stickle, who died Aug 6, 1985. Surviving are her son, John T Stickels Jr. of Clearbrook; two sisters, Pauline Heflin of Berryville and Elizabeth Simpson of Round Hill; a brother Lacy Broy of Winchester; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 2 PM Sunday at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, with the Rev. John Julcher and the Rev. Jay Kelchner officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Calvin Heflin, Jimmy Stickles, Wayne Anderson, David Moulden, Warren Snapp and Gorden Watts. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clearbrook Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company, P.O. Box 56, Clearbrook 22624.
