Comments: Obituary - From her FindaGrave site
A beloved member of our congregation since the early decades of our Park View Church location, Mary was baptized March 31 , 1929 -- a spring time experience for the refreshinq of her spiritual life.
In this autumn time of her life, she has completed her earthly pilgrimage and now claims the fulfillment of her Lord's promises to those who love Him and revere His Name.
She leaves to carry on the influence of her Christian life 2 daughters, Kitty T. Gray and Gladys (Lou) King; two loyal sons-in-law, Reds Gray and Ray King; six
grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Mary was a Sunday Church School teacher in our Park View years, a dedicated worker in the Missionary ond Ladies Aid Society which developed into the Christian Women's Fellowship, and she loved to work in her church's kitchen for all functions. She joyfully served in the role of Martha, but did not neglect the role of Mary, for she also took time to worship at the feet of Jesus.
She was a Deaconess many years and was honored as Deaconess Emeritus January 1, 1988. She was our Church Historian for a long while until her illness In Dec. 1987 prevented this valuable contribution from continuing.
Mary gave liberally to Memorial Funds in the church, and now others are using the same method to honor her memory.
