Lawrence Wade Treadway Sr., Retired Home Builder

Lawrence Wade Treadway Sr., 77, of Independence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.

He was a retired home builder, a Marine veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Latonia.

A daughter, Alonda Mae Bush, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Della Treadway; a son, Lawrence Wade Treadway Jr. of Walton; daughters, Alisia Bailey of Crittenden, Charlene Caudell of Independence, and Karen Hernandez of Poulsbo, Wash.; a brother, James Wesley Treadway Jr. of Covington; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Connley Brothers Funeral Home, Latonia. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
