Comments: Obituary
Ray Samuel Stickels Sr., 87, of Florence, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He was a retired machinist from Dayton-Walter and a Navy veteran of World War II. His wife, Edith Helen Treadway Stickels, died in 2000. A son, Terry W. Stickels Sr., died in 2001.

Survivors include sons, Creston Stickels of Union and Ray Samuel Stickels Jr. of Hamilton, Ohio; a sister, Ardith Meadows of Alabama; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stith Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Fort Mitchell.
