Obituary

Richard Keith Stickell was born on July 9, 1945, in Winchester Virginia to Harold and Grace Stickell. Richard and his family moved to Olympia in 1976. Richard served in the United States Army for over 15 years, and after moving to Olympia, worked for Madigan Army Medical Center in the Civil Service.

Richard is survived by his wife Christel, Son's Michael (Shelli) and Allan, and daughter Doreen Skorna. Grandchildren Teddy Cole, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Hannah Stickell, John and Zach Skorna. Brothers and sisters, Virgil, Earl, Waldo, June, Joyce, Madeline, Lorrena and Marie, numerous nephews, nieces and many GREAT ELK HUNTERS.

Richard will be laid to rest on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent Washington. A memorial service will take place at the Lacey Community Center on Pacific Ave. at 2 pm the same day. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christel Stickel Donation Fund at any Key Bank branch.
