JOHN SHIPLETT
On February 2, 2009, in Alexandria, VA. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathy Shiplett; brother, Jerry Shiplett, and sister, Rebecca Shiplett Harris. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Myra Howze Shiplett. He is also survived by nephews, Scott Harris, Christopher Harris and Alexander Shiplett and nieces, Lisa Baker and Katherine Shiplett. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in John's memory to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St., SE, PO Box 699, Vienna, VA 22180. Services are under the direction of DEMAINE FUNERAL HOME, Alexandria, VA.
