SCOTT Richard H. Scott, age 86, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Marjorie Scott, step-son David Obert. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Wilma; son, Stephen (Karen) Scott; daughters, Marjorie (Ralph) Kaparos, Carol Rhodes; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is a World War II veteran serving in the US Navy on the USS Zeal. Graduated from OSU as an Mechanical Engineer. Retired from Lucent. Member Briggs Road Baptist Church. Friends may call Friday 5-8 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where funeral service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. Pastor Ron Hopkins officiating. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. He was in the care of Grace Hospice. We want to thank all of their help and the chaplain for being son nice to him.
