From Email of 4/10/2010 from Stephanie Kuth Renz referring to conversation with Uncle Charles Bean: "I went to see Uncle Charlie again (my Thursday date! when I am in town). He did reminisce a little and here are some of the tidbits... His Mother was the disciplinarian, she was very strict and believed in family and friends, she got sick and had a "nervous breakdown" in the 1940's (like 44 or 45) and she never got better. The family went to visit her regularly, once a month and everyone had to go. Once, he remembers his "Aunt Mary and Uncle Delbert" coming to visit from Baltimore but it was very difficult as his Father felt it was a big strain on Mother to have "that" company."
