From the Morning Herald Obituary SUMMIT POINT, W.Va. - Genevieve Rebecca Poston Fellers, 94, of Summit Point, died Wednesday, June 21, 2000, at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, Va. Born Aug. 31, 1905, in Middleway, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Edith Stickel Poston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Fellers, in 1981. She retired after 25 years as the head cashier at J.J. Newberry Store in Charles Town, W.Va. She was a member of Summit Point United Methodist Church, and a choir member. She was the treasurer of Methodist Church Charge. She was a volunteer with Jefferson County Chapter American Red Cross; a member of Eastern Star; and Ruritan Auxiliary. She is survived by a sister, Ruth Poston Monnington of Front Royal; a cousin; four nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Charles Town. The Rev. Barbara Minter will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town. The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
