Charles Dale Nitz, age 46 of Beloit, died at 6 a.m. Sunday Jan. 15, 2006 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born July 15, 1959 in Buckhannon, West Virginia to Charles Jacob Nitz and Myrtle Irene (Williams) Nitz.
Mr. Nitz graduated from Alliance High School and worked as a welder at American Steel Foundries until retiring.
He was a member of the National Guard and was a maintenance specialist for 22 years.
Charles is survived by his wife, Janice E. (Billiter) Nitz, whom he married May 24, 1996; three sons, Clinton (Jessica) Nitz of Leigh High Acres, Florida, Joseph (Angie) Leek of Alliance, and Joseph W. Nitz of the home; five daughters, Cassandra Leek of Alliance, Denise Leek (Shawn Dickson) of Beloit, Emily Nitz, Debra Nitz, and Courtney Nitz, all of the home; seven grandchildren;
Lufour sisters, Irma (Mark) McVicker of Alliance, Lynn (Frank) Perrine of Alliance, Lucille (Bobby) Billiter of Alliance, and Hazel (LeRoy) Delsaver of Alliance, and one brother, Robert (Mindy) Nitz of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rex Billiter Sr. of the Youngstown Church of God officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
