Comments: According to Edie Rider his WWII Draft Registration card which he filled out shows a birth date of 01-31-1883 in Loudoun Co, VA.

Age 28 - 1910 US census - shows Aubrey E. Lloyd and Nora (1st child). Aubrey is listed as 29 and his wife Nora L is listed as 21. They have two children: Alvin (Age 5) and Tucker (Age 1.5).

Age 38 - 1920 US census - shows Aubrey as 38 years, and his occupation shown as a farmer. Nora is listed as the wife and she is 28. There are 6 children living in the home: Albin (age 14), Tucker (age 11), Hilda (age 8), William (age 6), Midred (age 4), and Calvin (age 1.5)

Age 48 - 1930 US census - shows and Aubrey living in Locust Dale, Madison Co., VA. Aubrey has remarried to a wife named Jesse and he is listed as 34 and Jesse is 33. There are three children living in the home: Mildred (Age 12), Morgan (age 11), and Aubrey (age 8). (This information is refuted by Sharon Cooper and may be referring to a different Aubrey)

Age 48 - Accoding to Sharon Cooper, Aubrey's great grand daughter, Aubrey never remarried after the death of his wife. He remained a widower and single parent for the rest of his life, and lived in Clarke County, Virginia, until some time before 1930, when he moved to Loudoun County, Virginia, where he lived until he died. Sharon also remembers; "I remember him waking up with the roosters (literally) and puttering around (he was very spry even at the very end of his life), taking care of his crops, animals, etc. He was an amazing man."

The SSDI shows an Aubrey Lloyd as being born in 31 Jan 1882 and died Feb 1975 in Middleburg, VA.
