Comments: Florence Alice Keller Stickel, age 68, of Boyce, Virginia, died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Stickel was born March 26, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Vivian Lorraine Green Todd and Bennett L. Todd. She worked for 25 years as a machine operator for Smalley's Package Company. She was a member of Boyce Baptist Church and Modern Woodman of America. She married John Henry Stickel, Sr. on September 5, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Surviving with her husband are her mother and step-father of Salisbury, MD; three daughters, Elizabeth Stickel of Boyce, VA, Barbara Ashwood and Arlene Riggleman, both of Winchester, VA; two sons, John Stickel, Jr. of Winchester, VA and Moses Stickel of Bryan, TX; two sisters, Deborah Ditolvo and Katherine Naile; three brothers, David Todd, Roland Keller, Jr., and Michael Keller, Sr.; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her father, Roland Leroy Keller, Sr., her step-mother, Dorothy Keller, her step-brother, Ronald Swartz, and a great grandson preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 P. M. Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Evangelist Margaret A. Kidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be James Allamong, Sr., James Allamong, Jr., Gary Ashwood, Woody Ashwood, Mitchell Riggleman, Jr., and Michael Wood, Jr. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P. M. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
