Comments: Grace's Obituary

Grace L. Reese, 68, of Clinton Street, died Tuesday November 28, 1995 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus after a short illness. Born Jan. 21, 1927, in Marysville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louvale (Bill) Dailey.

On April 15, 1945, in Marysville, she married Robert E. Reese Sr.,and he survives. Also surviving are three sons, Robert E. Reese Jr. and Fred Reese, both Richwood, and James J. Reese,Des Moines,Iowa; a daughter, Judy Nickel, Richwood; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister,Mrs. Herman (June) Fladt, and a brother.

She retired from Memorial Hospital in Marysville in 1991, after working in the obstetrics department 22 years. She attended the First Baptist Church in Richwood, member of the Prospect Senior Citizens and the Richwood Civic Center.

The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood, with the Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial is in Claibourne Cemetery. 

Robert's Obituary

Robert E. Reese Sr., 79, of Richwood died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Marion General Hospital.He was retired from the O.M. Scott Company after 30 years of service in the mailing department. He was a member of the Richwood First Baptist

Church, Scott's 30-Year Club and the Richwood Civic Center. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, playing euchre with his wife, Grace, and visiting with people. He was born Feb. 23, 1925, in Bellefontaine to the late Perry and Flossie Nickell Reese and was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Reese Jr.; three brothers; and a sister. He married Grace L. Dailey April 15, 1945,in Marysville and she died Nov. 28, 1995.

He is survived by three children, Judy Nickel and Fred Reese of Richwood and James J. Reese of Des Moines, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Blanche Isham of Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in Richwood. The Rev. Jerry Bentley will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery
