Ethel Mae Broy Kincheloe, 85, of Winchester, died Sunday in Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home, Winchester. Mrs. Kincheloe was born Nov. 28, 1901 in Clarke County, the daughter of Edward C and Ida Locke Broy. She was retired as owner of Armel Grocery Store in Frederick County.

She was married to Buel "Tex" Kincheloe. Surviving are a daughter, Gertrude Barry of Columbia, S.C. and a sister Estella Scruggs of Brentwood, MD.

A funeral will be at 3 PM Tuesday at Enders Funeral Home, Berryville, with Dr. Joseph P Roby officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville. Pallbearers will be Roy G Leake II, O.C. Gardner, Michael Jones, Harry McDonald, Lynwood Ritter, and Robert Eckman. Friends may call at any time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association of America or the American Cancer Society.
