Betsy (Sarah Elizabeth) Barrows Hampe Betsy (Sarah Elizabeth) Barrows Hampe, born in Austin, Texas, June 15, 1944, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2005, surrounded by family and friends.
Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Elizabeth Corner Barrows and Paul Barrows. She is survived by her loving family including her daughter, Susi Hampe Hagedorn, and her husband Craig and their children, Kyle, Janet, and Jenny; sisters, Kathleen Barrows Bradford and her family and Susan Barrows Bradford and husband Morgan, and their family, and cousin, Richard Corner and his family; and by her extended family and many friends.
Betsy was very active in Overseas Brats and enjoyed reunions and their activities. She volunteered with Reach to Recovery for many years. She was a life-long member of All Saints Episcopal Church. The greatest joy of her life was her triplet grandchildren. She graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa and from the University of Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2005, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 209 West 27th Street. In lieu of flowers, Betsy requested donations to the American Cancer Society, St. Andrew's Episcopal School, and All Saints Episcopal Church. Memorials and guestbook online at wcfish.com

Alfred Carl Hampe, Jr. Alfred Carl Hampe, Jr., age 59, of Georgetown, passed away Monday, October 6, 2003.
He was born June 30, 1944 in Austin, Texas to and Mildred Hahn Hampe. He enjoyed his work as a surgical technician at South Austin Medical Center.
He leaves behind his daughter and son-in-law, Susi and Craig Hagedorn of Houston; three grandchildren, Kyle, Janet and Jenny.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 9th at Austin Memorial Park, with The Reverend A. Phillips Nazro, Jr. officiating.
